Bellavita returns to Amsterdam in partnership with Horecava from 8-10 January 2018 to present Italian excellence in food and drink to over 65,000 professionals. Albert Heijn, Ekoplaza, Superunie, Makro and Delta Wines are just a few of the key players who will be joining Bellavita Amsterdam 2018 - an unmissable opportunity for producers to meet local and international industry leaders.

Key trends
According to ISTAT, in 2016 Italy exported around 900 million euros worth of F&B; products to the Netherlands . Pasta, cheese, cured meats, extra-virgin olive oil and conserves are the top exports but the demand for fair trade products is on the rise also on imported goods.
Italy is one of the leading wine exporters to the Netherlands , earning third place in terms of revenue and fifth in volume. Dutch consumers prefer red and rosé wines (accounting for 13,4% of the overall Italian wine export) followed closely by DOC whites (11,4%). Organic wines are also gaining popularity, a trend that was already strong in 2016 and which is now confirmed for 2018/19.

Overall, the Dutch market is looking for quality, diversity and transparency, opening new doors for Italian producers that can match these criteria.
