At present, Enzo Lorenzon, along with his sons Davide and Nicola, runs and manages about 70 hectares of vineyards with tenacity and passion, starting from that land that his father Severino bought in the ’50s, wasted land on which nobody would have bet a dime. Instead, together with his son Enzo, Severino Lorenzon decided that that land would be his land, where he would grow his best grapes, supported by a river, the Isonzo, and by the flora that found on its banks the ideal habitat to thrive. The source of life for the nature surrounding it, the Isonzo waters are the first element of every grape we grow.
The Winery is located in San Canzian d'Isonzo, in the Friuli Isonzo DOC
[1], which is positioned at the same latitude of southern Bourgogne, of the Cognac or of Oregon: a position for great, prestigious wines, further advantaged by the Mediterranean microclimate.
The Friuli Isonzo DOC area is a plateau slightly sloping from the Collio and Carso hills towards the Adriatic Sea.
"I Feudi di Romans" is the top label of the Lorenzon Winery, born in the early ‘90s from the desire to captivate and conquer the lovers of the Friulian wines’ tradition. The first wine of "I Feudi di Romans", which is currently distributed in over 25 countries in the world, was bottled in 1996.
