Cantina di Casorzo is the perfect synthesis of tradition, terroir and modern technology, where 45 members confer the totality of
their grapes, allowing the cellar to have excellent products. It also contains the synthesis of the social changes that have taken place in
Monferrato as it exists thanks to the hard work and tenacity of the founding members and is a symbol of how winemaking technologies
have evolved in recent years. Take advantage of 200 hectares of vineyards that have the best appellations of origin: (30%) Malvasia, (40%)
Barbera, (15%) Grignolino and the rest are vine to Freisa, Dolcetto, Bonarda, Cortese and Chardonnay.
It also sells Grappa di Malvasia and Barbera, distilled from the pomace of the grapes conferred.

1951 was founded by 200 winemakers

1968 Malvasia grapevine becomes a D.O.C.
Today the production is 15.000 hectolitres, produced by 20.000 quintals of grapes, 450.000 bottles and 25.000 customers each year.
OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
The National Integrated Production Quality System provides for the use of productive methods and means of defense against the adversities
of agricultural production, aimed at minimizing the use of synthetic chemicals and rationalizing fertilization, in compliance with
ecological, economic principles and toxicological. The main purpose is to combine techniques compatible with environmental protection,
ensuring the health of agricultural operators and consumers with the technical and economic needs of modern production systems.
Voluntary integrated production is a system implemented through specific technical rules (regional integrated production regulations)
for each crop and binding plant health indications including agronomic and phytosanitary practices and limitations in the choice of plant
protection products and the number of treatments.
OTHER PROJECTS
Furthermore, our Cellar, for 12 years, has been using a phytodepuration plant and a 12 sqm photovoltaic panel system, owning electric
power machines.
