The Chimento company was founded by Vincenzo Chimento in 1950. It was initially conducted by his son Luigi and today by his nephew Vincenzo.
It currently covers 15 hectares on the hills that rise to the right of the Crati, along the northern slope of the municipality of Bisignano, about 22 km north of Cosenza. The venue that houses and represents the company is the splendid nineteenth-century farmhouse renovated in 2002 by the same architect Vincenzo. Immersed in the vineyard and belonged to the poet acrese Vincenzo Padula, who spent his summer vacation here. The charming and welcoming agriturismo is also home to a small tasting point where you can enjoy the production wines, cheered by the typical aromas of laurel, strawberry tree, myrtle, and broom of the Mediterranean scrub.
