The Milk and Fontina Producers Cooperative was founded in 1957 with the aim of collecting, maturing and sell the agricultural product par excellence of the Aosta Valley: FONTINA D.O.P. The Fontina D.O.P. excels among mountain cheeses for its soft and elastic, melting, intensely perfumed dough.
The founding members were initially 46, while today there are around 200 private companies, cooperative dairies, dairies and mountain pastures.
