Ermita Del Conde

Ermita del Conde was founded in 2006 by Marta Gomendio. It is situated at high altitude, around 900m, in the small and historic village of Coruña del Conde. The vineyards, which are cultivated organically, are just outside the D.O. Ribera del Duero, where small plots of very old vines still exist waiting to be discovered. Marta has acquired 16has of these vines, mainly tinto fino (aka tempranillo), but also some of the very rare, indigenous white variety albillo mayor. She also controls another 7has of slightly younger wines.
