Fattoria di Bacchereto-Terre a Mano is located in Tuscany, between Florence and Pistoia, on the hills of Carmignano,180/250 meters above sea level.
It belongs to the same family since 1920. The surface is: 8 hectares at vineyard, 60 hectares at olives-trees and 90 hectares woods.
We produce respecting biodynamic method since 2001.Certificated Bio and Biodynamic.
Our rules provide a low yield per plant( about 1 kg.of grapes), only natural operations, fertilization by green manures, no use of selected bacteria, no filtration or refrigeration, two years aging in 350 liter Allier oak barrels followed by a minimum of six months of bottle aging.
Our main production is the Carmignano wine "Terre A Mano".
We produce also a special white wine “Sassocarlo”IGT Toscana and a small quantity “Vin Santo di Carmignano"Doc.
Our ExtraVirgin live Oil is very elegant and smooth and full of flavour
Almost every day we organize wine and olive oil tastings and visits to the vineyards, for our guests or for other visitors
There is a small production of Honey, and, only in Autumn, excellent Dried Figs of Carmignano(protected by Slow Food)
In the farm there is also a friendly agritourism.
