Fattoria Ramerino

Fattoria Ramerino is located in the hills to the south of Florence, in the municipality of Bagno a Ripoli, in the heart of Tuscany – an area dedicated to agricultural activity since ancient Roman times.

In the days of feudalism, the land surrounding the Tuscan capital was considered the ‘vegetable garden’ of the city, and was the source of all fresh produce sold in the city’s markets.

Early testimony of the agricultural activity carried out on the site, now occupied by Fattoria Ramerino, dates to the mid-1800s. At that time, olive oil was already being produced in a mill which stands to this day.

The company has grown and progressed on a number of fronts from the year 2000 to today. Where quality is concerned, there have been excellent results received from some of the most important international and national awards and guides.

Commercial success is demonstrated by expansion into foreign markets such as Sweden, Japan, USA, Canada, Estonia and Ukraine.
