Frantoio Del Grevepesa

In the mid-seventies a hundred agricultural producers in the Florentine Chianti Classico area, one of the most beautiful areas dedicated to olive cultivation, decided to meet in a cooperative, with the aim of promoting and protecting the flavors and traditions linked to the production of extra virgin olive oil of the territory. Thus the Cooperative "Oleificio fra producers del Grevepesa" was born.

The main varieties cultivated are the typical Tuscan ones: Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino and Pendolino and almost all the plants were renovated after the famous 1985 freeze. Our members found in the Frantoio del Grevepesa a reference point for the pressing of olives entrusting us the fruit of their work, in the certainty that the final product will maintain the expectations of excellence they desire.
