The business was founded in 1945 with the inspiration of Antonino Furco in the small town of Castellammare del Golfo, near Trapani. At the beginning it was only a family trying to make ends meet after the war by making homemade bread and biscuits for the local community.
As time passed, their products gained considerable success which led to the opening of a real bakery which moved to new premises in 1983 where its founder devoted his time exclusively to the production of traditional, Sicilian biscuits.
