La Biòca is located in Serralunga d’Alba.
The word "biòca" comes from the Piedmontese language and is used to describe a decisive person often with a "tough head", just like us that with all our ambitions make our best to express the excellence of this land through the wines we make.
We started our business in 2012, in a farmhouse that was located in Monforte d'Alba, two steps from our current winery. In a while it was clear that we have to expand and we bought another old farmhouse and we rebuilt to have the winery as we have now.
Our vineyards are situated in the villages of Monforte d’Alba (cru Bussia & Vigna Chiesa), Novello (cru Ravera), La Morra (cru Castagni & Croera), Barbaresco (cru Secondine & Ronchi), Roddino (Corini).
The most of the 14 ha under vines are of our property.
We produce around 80.000 bottles per year, most of them - traditional Langhe wines.
