The artisan factory “La Glacere” is located in the ancient quarter of Sopracastello, within the premises where in old times the ice was collected from the near lake and stored - there comes the local name “glacere”. On this gentle slope of San Daniele, the breezes from the Alps meet those from the Adriatic Sea letting San Daniele be the perfect place for curing and resting our prosciutto. This union makes the process of maturation unique. Tradition, nature and the dedication of the staff get together at “La Glacere” ham factory to create an artisan product of exceptional quality.
