Salumificio Peveri is a company located near Alseno, northern Italy, a small town between Parma and Piacenza, a globally known region known for the production of deli food and cured meats.
This small business produces high quality charcuterie and cured meats since 1952, by choosing the most genuine ingredients, with a meticulous selection of raw meats, and a strong attention towards packaging and appearance, in order to satisfy the most demanding and sophisticated Italian and international consumer.
Our company produces typical Italian cured meats from the province of Piacenza, with full respect for traditions, for the artisanal production methods, and for the authenticity and quality of raw materials.
We use first-rate meat only, produced by certified pig farms from the regions of Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna, Italy, and we process it according to the strict disciplinary protocols of “Consorzio dei Salumi Piacentini” (typical cured meats Consortium), certified by D.O.P. (Denominazione di Origine Protetta - Protected designation of origin certification).
The final result of this careful procedure is a rich set of delicious products, with a unique taste and quality: typical cured meats from Piacenza, such as the “Coppa D.O.P.”, the “Pancetta Piacentina D.O.P.”, the “Salame Piacentino D.O.P.”, the “Strolghino” salami, the “Culatello” and “Culatta” hams, together with cooked products such as “Zampone” (stuffed pork leg) and “Cotechino” (large boiled pork sausage).
