Appearance: ruby red with purplish reflections.
Nose: complex: blackberry, wild cherry, cherry, black pepper, vanilla. Sagrantino grapes and ageing in barrel are clearly identifiable.
Palate: well-balanced palate, richness of flavours, freshness; smooth tannin. Soft, long and with a nicely sweet and round finish.
Pairing: red meats, game, cold cuts and aged cheese.
