To date Usiglian del Vescovo covers about 160 hectares of which 25 are vineyards with Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Syrah, Petit verdot, Chardonnay and Viognier vineyards and 15 hectares of olive groves. The unique soil and proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea make the environment ideal for viticulture. Here the vines enjoy special conditions that give the wines uniqueness, exceptional sapidity and freshness. At the center of the estate is the villa of Usigliano, the manor house to which the whole set of farms and castles scattered throughout the property and from which the vineyards derive their name referred in ancient times.
