Varietals: 90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot
Vinification: soft destemming of the grapes; fermentation and maceration are achieved at a controlled temperature in stainless steel for about 15 days with numerous pump-overs and delestages.
Maturation: the wine matures in oak barriques for about 18 months, then in French oak barrels of 35 hl for the same period.
