Sorgente Valcimoliana S.r.l. is the company that bottles Dolomia water, unique Italian company that bottle the mineral water that flows inside the Friulan Dolomites Natural Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a corner of paradise, a heritage of all humanity whose integrity is protected and preserved. Dolomia natural mineral water springs from the rock of the Eastern Dolomites, in Val Cimoliana, at 833 mamsl, in a protected area of great geological interest, with a magnificent variety of unique and safeguarded flora and fauna.
Dolomia natural mineral water is classified as a low mineral concentration water: its dry residue (TDS) 114 mg/L, makes it one of the lightest and most well-balanced waters available today. It distinguishes itself for its extremely low sodium content (0.2 mg/L), one of the lowest of all mineral waters, for the data relating to pH 8.1 (naturally alkaline) and also for its optimum concentration of good minerals - calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate - indispensable for preserving the body's daily water/salt balance. In fact, its special mineralization has diuretic properties, making it particularly suitable for low sodium diets, an adjuvant in low calorie diets, useful for restoring the correct water/salt balance in athletes, while stimulating the digestive functions. Dolomia mineral water stands out due to its high level of dissolved oxygen - 10.5 mg/L - one of the highest values in the mineral water market. Water is essential for our existence and oxygen is essential for life. Oxygen leads to an improvement in our general wellbeing, has an energizing effect and has specific beneficial effects on many of the human body's organs. The presence of a minimum quantity of nitrates (2 mg/L) and the near-total absence of arsenic ( < 0.001 mg/L) prove its exceptional purity. In July 2008, the italian Ministry of Health recognized Dolomia as being suitable and recommended for newborn babies for the preparation of their formula & foods, including babies who are breastfed. The excellence of Dolomia water was awarded Three Golden Stars in 2013, in 2015 and 2018 at the Superior Taste Award by the International Taste & Quality Institute, based in Brussels.
