Azienda agricola Tenuta Lacco is a young company located in a sicilian hill overlooking the sea and the fascinating Eolian Islands and sorrounded by mountains, including the Etna. It was founded eight years ago by Antonino Calderone, a man with a huge passion for life and nature who wanted to develop the territory and give a future to his two daughters. The Estate spans approximately 20 acres, six of which are vineyards and another six are olive and citrus groves. We grow Grillo, Insolia, Catarratto and Moscato bianco which are indigenous white vine varieties and Nero d'Avola and Nocera which are indigenous red vine varieties. We are committed to use traditional techniques but always with an eye toward innovation and the result is a high-class, distinctive wine which still represents a niche in the wine market. We use sustainable cultivation practices with the aim of removing the use of chemicals and fertilizers, maintaining the highest level of quality in our products and preserving our incredible land. We are proud to have been certified as a biological farm.
