The wine-making tradition in the Oltrepò Pavese area dates back to the year 1000 B.C. and our research into vines and wines is nourished and enhanced by these richness of this history and these values.
It is from this land that we have drawn the energy and the culture to make our wines the superior products they are. This excellence is produced in 10 different wines, but in only 200,000 bottles per year. Ours is a limited production, which recognises quality as its primary value and expresses in each bottle the fragrance of tradition combined with the taste for modernity.
The Le Fracce estate is located in Mairano di Casteggio – an area in western Oltrepò Pavese, Lombardy – and is crossed by the 45° northern parallel: the latitude of wines, both Californian and Bordeaux.
The Winery is surrounded by an extensive park filled with age-old trees and populated by exotic wild-life. Near to the cellars there are showrooms housing the collection of antique carriages and period machinery.
It is a great place for wine-making with a passion.
It is a splendid place for the ongoing creation of emotions.
