Winemaking technique: De-stemming and maceration on the skins for seven days; alcoholic fermentation at 24 °C with inoculated yeasts. Complete malolactic fermentation.
Ageing in steel and partly in barrique for six months.
Sensory profile: Intense ruby red colour with hints of garnet. Ripe red fruit, black cherry and plum on the nose.
Full, soft and lingering mouth.
Sensory notes: A refined wine, rich and caressing, with a feisty character.

Food match: Perfect served with pasta dressed with meat sauces, with main courses of grilled and roasted red meats, and with medium-ripe cheeses.
