Grape variety 40% Syrah, 30% Nero D’Avola, 30% Frappato
Sicilia Rosso, made from organically grown grapes Syrah , Frappato and Nero D’Avola, intense ruby red colour. At the nose hints of little red fruits and spices; on the palate it’s full, warm and moderately tannic. Food pairings: Red meat dishes.
The name “Corda Pazza” is inspired by the famous essay on Sicily and the “sicilitudine” (i.e. a way of being Sicilian) written by Leonardo Sciascia; the wine is made from the excellent blend of three autochthonous vinegrapes: Frappato, Nero D’Avola and Syrah.
